Xiaomi is already annexed Indian mobile phone market with its budget phones Now, Google Is Planning To Launch Mid-Range Pixel In India Phone to rock the Indian market according to economics times report.
Google will Launch price sensitive phones in countries like India around July-august.
According to a report which says “Google is excited about the expansion of the consumer products business in India with the advent of the cheap 4G internet led by Reliance Jio and other operators which it says will help to realize the maximum potential of these products”.
Google launched neighborhood stores in late 2017 in India with a targeted sales of 36% Pixel phones in Indian Market.
The company may also Launch brick and mortar stores in 2018 to showcase their mid-range phones in India.
This is not the first time we heard of launching low budget Pixel Phones in order to grab market of developing countries.but, this time Google is taking huge steps to compete with Apple and Samsung in the market of developing countries.
Reportedly. In October 2017 India overtook the US as the world’s second-largest smartphone market behind China with 12 billion mobile users.Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Apple are the key players in Indian Mobile Market.
Google phones are one of the best mobile phones on the market.Pixels phones are costly as Apple and Samsung s series phones but, pixel phones are less popular in Indian market.
The company had recently acquired a major chunk of HTC’s mobile engineering division to boost the Pixel range of smartphones.
Upcoming mid-range phone of Google might come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 and Snapdragon 700 series of mobile SoCs.
Also, it will run on Android Go for those who don’t know android Go is Android Oreo’s next edition that can run on less than 1 GB ram phones also.
Google also ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack and instead offers audio connectivity via the USB Type-C port also used for charging.
Let’s hope they will release such phone.
